1/2 Birthday!!!

How is my little princess already 6 months old! Time has FLOWN! We love watching this little girl grow and learn so much. She's been a busy little girl lately and had a bunch of firsts! She spent her first weekend with her grandparents! Which means Mommy and Daddy had our first weekend away! (We both did great! but her more than me for sure). She celebrated her first Easter, rolls over to her belly, and cut her first two teeth!! She's still loving hard on her daddy, is full of giggles, loves peek-a-boo, starting to sit up really well, and loves her diaper changed. She doesn't like naps at daycare still. Overall, she's a very chill baby and for that we are so thankful! Here are pictures to sum up our month!

The first weekend in April was full of family time! Aunt Rhonda, Uncle Marcus and Nana came to spend some time with us! Then that same day we drove down to Jacksonville to visit with my Grandma Brinn, Aunt Val, and Amber. Grandma moved up to Minnesota with Aunt Val and we went to wish her well!
Snuggles with Aunt Rhonda!
Wardrobe change, milk, and naps in Panera while visiting with Nana,
Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Marcus!
Finally got to meet Aunt Val! :D
Snuggles with Grandma!
Getting some Amber love :D
We celebrated Easter! Our Easter did not get celebrated as planned :( John and I both ended up with a horrid stomach bug! John had it first and then it hit me like a ton of bricks the next day. We ended up calling his parents at 5am to come take care of Savannah since we were both SO incredibly sick. We had plans to spend the day on the farm with the Fisher family, but instead we spent it in bed...errr bathroom. My mom ended up coming to help out after Jim and Jane left for the farm. It was a rough weekend.I seriously dont think either of us have ever been that sick. The Easter bunny still made an appearance tho! and I dont think Savannah could have been more thrilled :D
AH! That face!
Loving her little basket and gifts!
Chewing on her new "toothbrush"
 Riding her new caterpillar!
AND she got to meet the Easter bunny at school!
Of all days for her to celebrate a few firsts- My Daddy's birthday!!! Her first tooth finally cut through her gums AND she rolled from her back to her belly for the first time! She also stopped sleeping through the night- but this little is going through a lot! Happy Birthday to my daddy and her grandpa in Heaven! We love and miss you so much!
Her first tooth!
I managed to get her rolling over!

Daycare Shenanigans!
It's so cute how much they love each other!
Going for a ride on the bye bye buggy! This is Savannah's FAVORITE. Meanwhile, Mason is plotting how to steal her bow....
Not napping at daycare and getting a full belly sometimes means falling asleep sitting up while eating. lol
Her first PICTURE DAY! We didnt get any- pretty sure this guy scared her. She wouldnt give any smiles. lol But she looked so cute! She didnt get to wear her Easter dress for anything else, so picture day it was!
She fights naps so hard at daycare that she doesnt even make it home before passing out. We live a mile away....
Snuggles with Mommy after daycare :D
MUCH happier after a nap and some snuggles!
To celebrate John's birthday a little late, Jim and Jane came over to help us with our flower beds! They were in need of some SERIOUS TLC.
Savannah supervised
All done! It looks SO much better!

We of course had more play dates with Mason!

Grandma and Grandpa knew how hard it was going to be for me, so they sent us pictures throughout the weekend :D Nap time was successful!
Sitting up like a big girl in Grandpas recliner

5 months!

Happy 5 Months!

This precious girl is 5 months old!! She is SUCH a good baby. We love how happy and easygoing she always is. Right now she loves to sit up (still with help), laugh at daddy and his silly sayings and faces, loves her Sir Leo the Lion (pictured! He's a friend all the way from London thanks to her Aunt Kristian and Uncle Andrew!) and LOVES to get her diaper changed. No, I'm not being sarcastic. haha Hopefully, this is a foreshadow for early potty training?! (One can hope, right?!) We actually get the best smiles and laughs when she's on the changing table. She is definitely a morning baby and likes to babble and talk to herself and us. She doesn't like getting overtired or getting to bed late. She's starting to teethe and chews on EVERYTHING, but her "chew toy" of choice is daddy's fingers. Definitely a daddy's girl (who can blame her?!). She brings us so much joy and love we never even knew was possible. She makes our hearts so full.

Savannah also got her 3rd ear infection :( We were told if she gets any more that we might need to talk about tubes :(. This month was also filled with lots of PNC for me and 2 baby showers! We got to celebrate some of Savannah's pending friends! Stephen and Lindsay's baby boy and Cinco! Savannah and Mason also got to spend lots of time together :D

Savannah didnt sleep well one night, which isnt like her. She wouldnt let me put her down. After a few hours I was finally able to get her to sleep and was able to lay her down. Her and daddy slept, while I made a doctors appointment.
Ear infections are no fun!
Snuggles with daddy!

We got to hang with Mason one day all day while his parents went to a wedding! Savannah enjoyed her play date! They practiced rolling over together and held hands a lot:D
 Baby BFFs :D

We snuggled tons, like always :D
We played even more :D
We celebrated the first day of spring with a fun dress and the cutest smiles!
Timehop shared with me that a year ago, on March 30th, we got to see Savannah for the first time!!! My goodness how things have changed and how much she has grown!
We also celebrated daddy! John celebrated his first birthday as a daddy! :D Of course, I didnt get a picture :( But we love him more than anything and he is SUCH a good father!
