Showers for Sherry!

Me and the bridesmaids threw Sherry a shower a few weeks back. We had SO much fun! They were in charge of the food and I was in charge of decorations, favors, and games. They decided on a tea party theme, which was cool and different, just like my sister. lol. I got there early to help set up. They had already prepared most of the food and drinks. We had tons of different "British" foods and teas available for guests.

Food!
 Some of the drinks

As for decorations, I stuck with her "nature" theme. I found cute mason jar decorations off of pinterest and then added the rocks and flowers to them. I made about 6 of these to go around the apartment (we had it at the bridesmaids townhouse). I wrapped them in burlap, ribbon, and then twine. Super cute. I actually have some of these around my house for decoration now. haha. Then I had extra burlap to use.

For the favors, I found these really cute tea bags that you turn into favors. Basically, you take them out of their packet and make a new packet out of scrapbook paper. here is a link to the directions I followed: Tea Bag Favors. They came out super adorable! After you fold them all up- I added a twine bow!

The actual party was so much fun too. I got to meet a lot of Sherry's friends and get to know everyone a little better. It's so weird seeing my baby sister in such an adult role! I am so proud of her. After we ate and socialzed for awhile we did two truths and a lie, that turned into story time about Sherry! It was really fun. Then it was present time! She racked up! She has another shower this weekend with his family too. They will definitely be set for their life together!

                                                                  LOVE MY SISTER!

After the shower we got ready for her bachelorette party! She is and always has been a low key kind of person. She wanted breakfast for dinner and then to meet the guys for drinks at Big Boss. We took her to the Flying Biscuit for dinner- YUMMY! Then we headed off to Big Boss. It was nice to spend time with Aaron too!

It was a wonderful day full of celebrating Sherry!! :D LOVE YOU BABY SISTER!!!
