June 6th
Baby is the size of a Sugar Glider this week. I found a picture of it in a hand to help visualize size! Baby is about 7 ounces this week. Getting bigger! Baby's nervous system and facial features are developing now and the baby is starting to move more! (I still have not really felt anything since the time at the beach.)
How's Mama? I gained a little more weight this week and grew almost everywhere! People at work started to let me know that I look pregnant now. haha. I'm just glad I'm crossing over from fat to pregnant for sure. :D The headaches are still hanging around some :( and I've noticed I've been getting dizzy more easily. So I'm trying to take things a little slower. This week was a very busy, stressful week at work for me. So I'm glad it is over. and still no more baby kicks :(
How's Daddy? Well, Daddy wins pregnancy this week :D One of my days this week was worse than the rest and I told John I was going home and taking a nap and asked him to bring home dinner. He came home with hibachi and Bojangles because he didnt know what I would want and wanted me to be happy :D He is THE BEST. Seriously. He wins. Other than that, he's gearing up for his big annual meeting in 2 weeks- so he's super busy with work, as usual. I know he'll be glad when it's over!!
The week!: This week has been super busy. For me- our summer programs started so I've had a lot of headaches and last minute stuff I've had to do (hence the bad week). I also spent most evenings prepping for Krystal's baby shower!! It was this past Saturday and it went SO well! Everything looked so good! Nikki (her sister) and I got together Friday night to get everything started and then got up early and headed to Krystal's house to decorate and finish the food for it (Krystal went and spent the morning with her mom so everything could be a surprise). My sister came to help too! She cleaned the downstairs for me, which was super helpful! John took Josh tubing down the Neuse River to spend some time with the daddy to be :D Nikki and I had so much fun doing this for Krystal :D I still cant believe I just helped throw my best friend's BABY shower! I feel like we were just in college!!
