Boy or Girl?!

John and I find out this week what the baby is!! I cant believe it's already time to find out and at the same time it feels like it has taken forever to get here!! For fun, John and I tested out a lot of the old wives tales to guess what we are having. Before I share those though, I will say we both think it's a girl and have since I got pregnant! Here we go:

Carrying High Or Low? High means Girl, Low means Boy! We both think I'm high!- So one point for girl!

Body signs- Stealing my beauty- means girl, dry hands and cold feet mean boy- I've been breaking out like a teenager (yikes!). And my hands are no more dry than normal and my feet are always cold. So another point girl.

Ring Test- If the ring swings back and forth it's a boy, if it goes in a circle it's a girl. It swung in a circle- so another point girl. 

Heartbeat- If it's higher than 140 it's a girl, if it's lower- it's a boy! For all of our appointments it's been higher than 140. So point girl!

Cravings- Salty cravings means boy, Sweet cravings means girl. I WANT ALL THE SWEETS! So point girl.

Chinese Birth Charts- I've done a few of these online- they all say boy! So point boy!

Spouse- If daddy-to-be has gained weight with mommy, it's a girl. He thinks he has, I'm not so sure about that. But he says point girl. 

Morning sickness- If you have it, girl. If not, boy. I threw up for 9 weeks. So point girl!

Linea Nigra- If it stops at your belly button it's a girl, if it goes all the way up to your ribs, boy. Point boy!

Headaches- More than usual means boy, less means girl! Point boy. 

So 7 out of 10 old wives tales, tell is us it's going to be a girl!! That and our gut instincts, I feel like we'll be right! We'll find out at the end of the week!!
