19 weeks!

June 13th!

Baby is the size of a hedgehog this week! So cute!! The baby's coordination is growing every day and he/she is gaining better control over the arms and legs. Baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces now! The baby is getting so big!

How's Mama? STOKED! We found out what we are having!! :D My lower back started to hurt this week. Not bad or anything, but I can tell when I dont use my pregnancy pillow for most of the night, my lower back will hurt more. It's usually towards the end of the day though, so that's good. My headaches seem to be even fewer, which is nice.  I've noticed a few more stretch marks- I'll call them my mama scars from now on. Hopefully, they will fade over time, but we'll see. Nothing more that I can do (I lather up with stretch mark lotion and oil everyday) so no need to worry :D I did lose a little weight this week. I got worried so I called the doctor. They said to stop weighing myself and they would see me Friday (FOR OUR ANATOMY SCAN!). LOL. So I guess I wont worry about that anymore! 

How's Daddy? SO EXCITED! Happy first Father's day!!!  How awesome to get to find out what we are having for father's day! Our appointment was just amazing. and scary. We both feel that things are much more real now. Daddy is super stressed out about his annual meeting that is next week, so this was a nice break. Daddy still gets some of my pregnancy symptoms and is still taking amazing care of me. He even let me do a whole gender reveal party, he loves me so much :D As for Father's day- we are working on getting Daddy a new camera to take all the pictures he wants of baby girl :D 

This week: IT WAS SO LONG! The anticipation of finding out what we were having made the days DRAG. But then Friday came and we found out what our precious little one is!!! I'll share more about the appointment after I share our gender reveal party details! :D John and I took the day off after our appointment. We figured we wouldnt be able to work. We went and picked up party supplies for the next day (howling cow ice cream! YUM). and then spent the day at home processing our big news! There was just so much to think about and I dont think either of us realized it :D Saturday was our party and Sunday we (I) rested, while John did more work for annual meeting. It was such a fun weekend to get to find out and share with all of our friends!!
