Maryland!

John and I were finally able to take some time off together and go on vacation! This was back in November, but we have seriously been SO busy. We decided to go up and visit Josh and Krystal! :D We had not been up there in awhile, so it was nice to visit them. We had taken a bunch of days off, but with Johns interview and second job (working ESPN or RayCom) it ended up being shorter than we would have liked, but it was still really nice.

On the way up there we stopped in Richmond to grab some food. We ended up trying a little brewery called Isley- their beer was okay. Their peanut butter chocolate stout tasted just like Reese's Puff Cereal to me. lol YUMMY. We also stopped at this little BBQ place that had great reviews. The food was pretty good and we ran into the VCU basketball team! We got to the Kinlaws kind of late, but we hung out with them a bit before they had to go to sleep (they had to work the next day).
 YAY Vacation!
The next morning we slept in- we were going to go to brunch, but John ended up having a phone interview, so I made something for us at the Kinlaw's. This is where I found the best cream cheese of my life. Krystal had gotten some salsa cream cheese from Wegman's and OMG. We had to make a special trip to buy some on the way home. lol. Anyway, afterwards John and I decided to go play disc golf. The course we played was beautiful! It was really windy so I stopped keeping score for myself. lol It was still fun to try another new course though! When we got back to Krystal and Josh's they took us to try Jailbreak a brewery near their house. It was really good and we got to play shuffleboard. Afterwards we went and got crab cakes!! John and I have been up there a few times and didnt get crab cakes until this time. Shame on us! lol. They were some of the best food that I have ever put in my mouth! haha.

The next day John and I got up to go to Troegs Brewery in PA! It was a few hours of a drive, but it was a pretty one. It was in Hershey, PA, and that little town is really cool! I would love to take our kids there one day! Anyway, the drive was totally worth it. It's probably the best brew tour I've ever been on. The tour was pretty long and very educational. The store was awesome and then they had a little "snack bar". I mean it was basically full service food and there were very interesting selections- good interesting, just different. For example we got Lamb burger, curried naan bread, fig chutney, honey goat cheese, lambs lettuce, carrot harissa and fries with spicy ketchup. It was all VERY delicious. I would go back again in a heart beat. We had such a good experience there. :D On the way back to the Kinlaw's it started to SNOW. I was not ready for that! lol.

Bottling line- It was actually in process- SO COOL!

Hard to see- but I was taking a pictures of the snow. lol

When we got back to the Kinlaws, we hung out with them for the rest of the night. We always have a great time with them. It was nice to get away for sure! We got up early the next am and drove home. We wanted to get home at a decent hour before John had to work the game early the next morning. Cant wait to go back again!
