9 months old!

Happy 9 months baby girl!
It's been a BIG month for us! Savannah learned how to army crawl this month so she is ALL over the place!! She can't quite figure out that her left knee can help too, but it's precious. She also learned how to sit up from laying down all on her own! When we go get her from her crib (which had to be lowered😩) she's always sitting up! We moved her to her big girl car seat, which she seems more comfy in and went on a work trip with daddy to Kiawah🌴! She's up to 6 teeth! Savannah loves to dance 🎼, swing, eat, and get into everything she's not supposed to! She hates sitting still on her changing pad for diaper changes and when getting dressed. I guess she has too many places to be! We took her swinging for her first time and she LOVED it!

We did start out the month sick :( She started to get pneumonia. Poor girl! At least she was still in good spirits!

Reading at the doctor
 Selfie fun with mommy!
Savannah had LOTS of fun playing with the mirror baby at the doctor!
We hung out with our friends when we were home sick :(

We practiced getting on all fours! and learned to army crawl!

Encouraging her to crawl!

Tried some pasta! Daddy makes yummy pasta!
We learned Savvy gets heat rash like mommy did when she was little :(
 Helping with laundry!
And we went to Kiawah with daddy!! We stopped for some BBQ! YUMMM

Nap time for all! These snuggles were the best!
 Off to the beach!

 It was HOT but fun!
 Sink Bath!
One of John's coworkers babysat for us so we could have a date night! We went to this DELICIOUS place called the Fat Hen. O.M.G. One of the top 5 meals I've ever eaten!
We also got to do a seafood buffet on the island!
 Savannah LOVED it!
Selfies with mommy while daddy worked!

We started to learn how to drink out of a big girl cup! She picked it up WAY faster than I would have thought!
Sitting up in her bed, so we had to lower it!
 RAWR! I'm a lion!

8 months old!

Happy 8 months to our sweet, happy, funny, and adorable little girl! We had another BUSY month! It amazes me how one can change SO much in only a months time! This month Savannah has gotten SO good at eating table food. She's basically a champ already and has yet to turn something away! She's perfected sitting and has started to pull up on everything and has really become a social butterfly. She loves daycare and other babies SO much. She's getting really good at dancing and loves music. She's started to clap more frequently and it's so cute to see how proud of herself she is when she accomplishes something! We also got to celebrate Father's day! :D

Noming on a quesadilla!
Corn on the cob was a hit!
Trying peanut butter!
We also learned how to feed the dog....
She LOVES that she goes to school with Mason!
Eating like a big girl at daycare!
 That face...
We finally found a time to have a play date with an
old friend from college and her little girl Claire!
Mason wasnt feeling picture time- I thought this was sweet-
It looks like Savannah is trying to comfort him
 The mommies!

Aunt Sherry got to come for a visit with Nana!
The Kinlaws watched Savannah for us so we could go meet Quinn! We didnt want Quinn to catch something while he was so small, but wanted to make sure we loved on that little baby while he was still so new! Savannah got to snuggle with Mason and play in his car while we went!

 Meeting Cinco/Quinn!
It's crazy to me that Savannah used to be that small!!
We love this sweet family so much!
We celebrated Father's day! John is the BEST Dada in the whole world :D Homemade chicken and waffles! Then we went and enjoyed downtown as a family! :D
I love this man more than he will ever know :D
  Getting some daddy playtime in!
 Dinner downtown!
  Hugs for fathers day!
This girl cracks me up at bath time! She started this new thing where she puts her leg up like that. haha. "mom, really? another picture?!"
 Dance, dance, dance!
 Seriously, how adorable!!!
We figured out this month that Savannah has a contact allergy to citrus fruit. I fed her some strawberries and her little chin broke out. We tried a few more times and it kept happening. I called the pediatrician and they said it was normal for that to happen in some babies. That if we feed her citrus, we need to wipe it off right away. So that's what we did! I also asked daycare to stop feeding her citrus fruit and they agreed. Well, we could not figure out what was going on but every time she would come home from daycare her little face would be broken out still. We FINALLY figured out that they were just knocking the fruit the off the tray, but since the fruit had been on the tray the juice would get on the other food she was eating. It was ridiculous and I had it out with one of her teachers. I ended up getting a note from the pediatrician for them to not include it on her plate at all. I wont go in to details about it all because we really do like the daycare and the daycare ended up helping us, but that teacher- WHEW.
Pulling up on the coffee table!
Play date with Mason, showing him how she can stand now too!
    We celebrated Savannah's 1st 4th!

We had a little 4th party at our house! Our parties sure have changed! LOL

Savannah finally got to meet Quinn when he came over for the 4th!
College best friends with their kiddos!
And of course the  month wouldnt be complete without snuggles with mommy :D
