MIA

Sorry for being MIA. Life has been crazy this summer! I also feel like this summer has flown by. I am not quite ready for Fall yet, because I dont want summer to be over. But I am excited to have my first Fall in 3 years!! Anyway, I will give some highlights and throw in some pictures to help fill in the past few months. haha

• We finally settled all the accident stuff! We got our monies and everything has been paid off. We are very glad to be done and came out ahead a little, which is always good :D
• JOHN AND I ARE LOOKING FOR A HOUSE!!!!! This constitutes a post in itself, but has been a large reason for being MIA. It's very time consuming!
• John and I made a trip up to Maryland to visit Krystal and Josh! It was a quick trip, but TONS of fun. We relaxed a lot, let the puppies play together, and we toured Flying Dog Brewery, which gave us a completley different attitude about their beer! We are big fans now. haha. This was also Carter's first trip to Maryland to visit Bailey! It went great! :D They love each other so much- it's really cute :D

• Krystal and Josh made a quick trip down here too! Again, lots of fun :D  I didnt get any pictures but it did end with a pool party at hutch's! It was of course rained out, but we made the best of it! Lots of fun. I cant wait for them to live closer one day! :D
• John and I had a bunch of date nights- of course :D We made some homemade pizzas, brewed our first batch of beer in Raleigh!, went to see American Aquarium a few times, and got to see Brad play as well! :D

Crank Arm Brewing in downtown Raleigh- yummy! However, they have a chocolate habanero that is really gross. You should try to say you did, but gross. lol

 John found a recipe for Pizza Hut Pizza and it tastes spot on! SO GOOD! :D

• I got to learn how to can pickles!! John's parents had me over since I would like to start canning and let me in on the process. It's time consuming, but something I would love to do more of! :D

 

• On a not so fun note, Carterbutt has been battling what we thought was ringworm. He's been treated for it for the past few months and he still has it. Luckily, it looks mostly gone now- thank goodness! Treating it was getting very expensive!
• Julie, John's sister is in full wedding planning mode as her day is quickly approaching! A few weeks ago we had her wedding shower  and it was a lot of fun. Of course I forgot to take pictures :(. I did make fun little favors of mason jars with peoples names on it for them to drink out of and take home. Of course there was tons of good food and fun games played. It was really nice to get to see a lot of family too! Her wedding will be here quicker than we know it!

• Most importantly, FOOTBALL IS HERE! :D haha. I am a little excited about this, if you cant tell. I am SO excited for college football. :D Here is to hoping this season is a good one :D
